Eat My Writing?

I have come to realize that the more stressed I feel about finding time to write, then the less time I actually put into writing. Instead I end up frittering time away doing etsy-etsy stuff. This is apropo since my gardening season starts up in a month which means far less time for writing my book. Ugh.

This makes me wonder about a similar phenomenon when people want to lose weight and are so focused on the food they eat that they end up eating more and putting on more weight.

I think we need to find a way to switch this around. Focus on food, eat less. Focus on writing, write more. Maybe focus on writing, eat less.   Focus on food, write more?

Maybe just eat my writing?

;~)

  1. You’re definitely creative lol. I like how I can picture the gears turning in your head while to work your way to some logical conclusion. I’ve bookmarked you. Looking forward to more posts.

  2. Hey thanks… if you like my strange mind, you might have fun checking out my book: If I gave you God’s phone number….Searching for Spirituality in America. I spent close to 7 years asking all sorts of people from different belief systems (some atheists too) and different walks of life — the question: If I gave you God’s phone number, what would you do with it?

It was fun.. and educational to say the least. ;~)

  3. Aw you just pitched a book to me. lol. Okay, you check out my blog and I’ll read your book. Will I find it at Barnes and Noble? I’ll make sure to mention it in future posts. You’re a really unique and interesting person. Keep writing in this blog because that’s where I’ll be.

  4. Hi, yeah, I guess I’m guilty of that. But if you saw how many books are in my basement, you’d maybe understand. (I’m probably not supposed to confess that, I know).

Barnes and Noble can definitely order it for you.

And I will link you on my blog… a deal.
Thanks for the compliments though. I was told I was weird at age 15, and have come to really cherish the compliment that it was — though it took a while. Sigh.
