Make God Laugh (ps. thx alphainventions!)

A friend sent this to me today:

We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one
that is waiting for us.

— Joseph Campbell

I responded that it sounded quite similar to:

If you want to make God laugh…
– tell him your plans for the future.

— anonymous

(so true… just as I was so certain that I was going to move to the Pacific NW back in 1994. And I always thought I’d have a high falutin career in Enviro work and I am primarily a professional gardener now… God certainly did have other plans. And I’m grateful for it..)

ps: I just discovered this website that flashes through blogs to promote them, a creative endeavor all free by one person. It’s called It never fails to amaze me the sense of community and helping that so much of the internet is based upon… a large village supporting each other.
