Why I Garden — it’s joyous and helps me feel better! Rx from the soil.

A friend on FaceBook who is an environmental professor in Australia just introduced this research to me. It’s fascinating! It speaks to recent research on how certain mycobacteria act in a similar yet better manner as anti-depressants…

Surely this is why I don’t feel so compelled to wash my hands before I eat lunch out in a garden. ;~) Truthfully, years ago, I was on anti-depressants, then found a gifted healer to work with, and took up gardening as my vocation for bread and butter. This does not surprise me yet the specifics of it are fascinating.
