The Great Marvels of Puttanesca and other Delights – Limericks

So my housemate and I just started playing with limericks tonight. I’ve been having fun with Cow limericks and we started to co-create some together. She thinks the word ‘puttanesca’ is just the best. And that is all that I’m going to say about ‘puttanesca’. ;~)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaghetti_alla_puttanesca
(literally “whore’s style spaghetti” in Italian)
There once was a puttanesca
that loved to drink very cold fresca
she has it with ice
it tastes quite nice
for those hot and juicy days at her deska.

——-

There once was a guy named Pete

Who had horribly stinky feet

He sealed them in

To harness the sin

And discovered it was really the wheat.

—–

I am the puttanesca from Nantucket

Don’t even try to compare me to a bucket

I keep myself clean

And try not to be mean

When I’m out in public I dearly tuck it.

——

Francesca was a puttanesca

Who was very proud of her little nesta

The birds that flew in

Always called it a win

They thought it was the primo and besta.
