Lakota Elder, Teacher and Writer on Radio show – Basil Braveheart

Hello Beautiful Sacred Friends-
I encourage you, if you feel called, to listen to this radio show (and even consider getting the amazing book) with Basil Braveheart.

Basil Braveheart is a Lakota elder and teacher and author. He speaks of Sacredness in a way that only someone raised in the old ways of native people’s can speak of it. All is sacred. All is part of Spirit. All we do is an act of prayer and we are touched by prayer when we touch a flower, a glass of water, each other…

I read the book several months ago and then gave it away to a fellow friend who is part Native American and was in the Vietnam War and suffers from PTSD. I need to get another copy to read it again. It’s a powerful story, very powerful. And beautifully written. I so honor Basil and his work. He has helped so many Native peoples recover from severe alcoholism and other PTSD issues. Such a beautiful spirit gracing our world these days. Such a gift.

blessings and hugs to all… xoxo m
