On a Sink Full of Dishes and How It Blocks my Creativity. ;~)

It’s a funny thing. I do most of my writing on a couch at a low table in the kitchen. When the dirty dishes are all done and the kitchen sink is empty and clean, plus counters wiped, it gives me a lovely sense of ease and wellness in the room. A good peace of mind. It’s as if the dirty dishes piled within view are stuck energy that blocks me and my creativity. That’s what a sink full of dishes does to me… distracts me and saps my creative juices. This is not so conducive to good writing. I know… kinda weird but true. In really deep writing phases, all the dishes have to be done first, then the muse can really let loose.  Good news is the frig does not have to be clean. That’s an ordeal I’m quite gifted at procrastinating on. ;~)
